I. Introduction of ComparatorPro :

II. How to Compare Files, Folders and Sub-Folders :
ComparatorPro-Step1: ComparatorPro will compare files, folders and sub-folders (if desired) to quickly update backup set before you get down to some serious work. Download the software and then install it.
ComparatorPro-Step2: The first step on using ComparatorPro is to select two relevant folders which we'll call a Source and a Destination.
ComparatorPro-Step3: The default setting is to scan for all files (*.*) including sub folders and to test for duplicate files by time with a Time Threshold of 2 seconds. The various options are listed and described as follow.
ComparatorPro-Step4: After setting your options or loading a preset, click on the Scan Button to begin comparing the Destination files with the Source files. Once the scan begins, you will see its progress at the bottom of the Comparator window.
ComparatorPro-Step5: The result of the scan will be split in 3 different kinds: Missing Files, Newer Files, Duplicate Files.
ComparatorPro-Step6: Click the "Reset" button to set and scan new folders.
